Welcome to Saint Paul Lutheran Church

Serving in God's Great North Woods

Our Mission

Saint Paul Lutheran Church, established in 1887 , has a long history of serving God through worship, prayer, and community outreach. We gather often to support each other as redeemed children of God. We proclaim the Gospel and with God’s grace and help, we live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Focus

We are ONE. One Body. One God. Three ways of being God. God the Father. God the Son. God the Holy Spirit. We are Christians. Followers of Christ. We are ministers. We are missionaries. We live our call. One Lord. God’s Work, Our Hands. United in Christ, We live. In, on, and under THE CROSS We Are Lutherans.

Our Beliefs

Nearly 500 years ago, the Christian church was corrupted by many false teachings. A man named Martin Luther led people back to the teachings of the Bible. His work, and that of his friends, is called the Reformation. Through Luther God restored the church to purity of doctrine and a new life of faith in Christ.
