What We Offer Through Our Music Ministry
We are blessed at St. Paul to have Marilyn Schroer as our musician leading us during the worship service. Whether playing the piano or the organ, Marilyn’s enthusiasm is contagious. On Sunday mornings at 9:30 September through June, anyone who is interested in singing in the choir can gather. With Marilyn’s direction, the choir practices both new songs and favorite, old hymns. The Choir sings on festival Sundays such as Christmas and Easter but also offers their gift of music on other Sundays as they determine.
The St. Paul Dolls and the Tin Hats as the choir members are known, sing to the glory of God. Often there is as much laughter as there is singing. Together they experience fun and fellowship as they “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”
Growing in Christ
There is no better way to grow in Christ than to sing to his Glory. Throughout Scripture, we learn of the angels singing Alleluia to Christ the King. As the choir practices the selections, their voices and words are like prayers being lifted to God.
If you love to sing, this is the choir for you. Come and join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30.
